Quick answers

Common questions, answered plainly.

What is a bounce house?
A bounce house is an inflatable structure made of PVC vinyl or oxford fabric, kept firm by a continuous electric blower, that children jump and play on. It was invented in 1959 and is now a staple of parties and events worldwide.
How much does it cost to rent a bounce house?
Most standard bounce house rentals in the US cost $150–$350 per day. Combo units, water slides, and obstacle courses typically run $250–$600 or more depending on size, delivery distance, and day of the week.
How do I know a bounce house company is safe?
Ask for proof of liability insurance, how units are cleaned between rentals, and how they anchor units and handle wind limits. Bounce House Association members with Safety Verified, Insurance Verified, and Clean Certified badges have had all of these checked — and every badge can be confirmed on our verification page.
What should I ask before booking a rental?
Confirm the quote includes delivery, setup, and takedown; ask about generator rental if there's no power on site; check park permit rules for public spaces; and book early for spring and summer weekends.
